音楽詩劇研究所の2024年度舞台芸術国際共同制作事業のために制作した複数の映像。
舞台公演は第一部 「そして魂と踊れ」（演出・作曲：チョン・ウォンキ）、第二部 「黒潮の子」（演出・作曲：河崎純）の2つの作品から構成され、映像は第一部では翻訳字幕等のテキストのみを投影、第二部では全編にわたって映像が使用された。

メインとなる映像は、第二部の与那国シーン全体を構成するもので、それまで舞台上にいた主人公 SHIO が、このシーンにおいては映像の中に入り込んで現代の与那国島を旅する様子が描かれる。同時に舞台上では SHIO を演じていた俳優・東盛あいかさんがこれらの映像を背景に AIKA という人物を演じるという設定である。
映像は公演の数ヶ月前、団体メンバーとともに与那国島に滞在し、フィールドワークや取材を重ねながら撮影を行った。
This film work was created for MPDLab’s new performance in 2024.
The stage performance will consist of two pieces: the first part “Then Dance with Souls” (Directed and composed by Wongi Jeong) and the second part “SHIO – Song of diaspora” (Directed and composed by Jun Kawasaki). The videos projected in the first part are only text, including translated subtitles, while various videos are projected throughout the second part.

The main video is the entire Yonaguni scene in the second part of the performance. In this scene, the main character SHIO, who had been on the stage until then, enters the video and travels around Yonaguni Island in the present day. At the same time, the actor Aika Higashimori, who played SHIO on stage, plays the character of AIKA against the backdrop of these images.
Several months before the performance, I stayed on Yonaguni Island with members of the theater company and filmed this video through a series of fieldwork and research.

また、島から島への漂流・漂着を表す「渡海」と名付けられたシーンの映像は、映像作家の高山剛さんとともに制作を行った。自身の拠点である瀬戸内海で高山さんが撮影し、ラフ編集を行った映像に若干の調整と加工を加えたものを本番では投影した。
The video for the scene “Crossing the sea,” which represents drifting and drifting ashore from island to island, was produced with videographer Go Takayama. Takayama, who is based in the Seto Inland Sea, shot and roughly edited the video, and I made some adjustments and processings to the video, which was then projected on the stage.
